So, you’ve realized that recently your boyfriend is becoming more and more annoying.

You understand that there are bound to be ups and downs in any type of relationship. But you can’t bear it anymore.

The truth is that if your boyfriend is annoying you more often than not, it might be a sign that things aren’t going so great between you two, and you should think about what can be done about it.

Either way, there are 15 reasons your boyfriend is really annoying you right now—and what to do about it.

1) He’s emotionally immature

Have you ever noticed that sometimes your boyfriend is acting very immature in your relationship?

You simply realize that in social situations he’s not acting like an adult, but rather like a teenager.

You might have noticed that he’s not mature enough to handle the problems in your relationship and that he’s acting like a little kid who wants you to take care of the problems for him.

And guess what?

It’s very annoying when your boyfriend is acting like this. You don’t want to be with someone who can’t handle their own problems.

Sometimes his immaturity might be expressed in being jealous of your friends, or getting mad at you for no reason.

Other times, it might be expressed by his inability to handle stress or confront difficult situations.

Regardless of the expression, your boyfriend’s immaturity is really annoying—and you need to get rid of it if you want to have a successful relationship.

One way to do this is by setting up boundaries for him.

You can tell him that he can’t always rely on you and that he has to learn how to handle his own problems without your help.

Also, you can explain that he can’t expect you to be perfect all the time and that he needs to give you space sometimes.

Setting boundaries will help your boyfriend become less emotionally immature, and, in turn, less annoying.

Because the simple truth is that having a man on your side who’s too emotionally immature might be more damaging to your relationship than having no man at all.

Yes, it’s true that sometimes everyone needs to act a bit childish, and that is normal.

But if your boyfriend is acting immature most of the time, it’s time to set some boundaries.

So the reason why your boyfriend has become so annoying lately is that he’s acting like an immature little boy.

And you know what?

Sometimes, there’s just no way around it. If your boyfriend is emotionally immature, it might be a sign that the relationship is not going to work out.

So, if you’ve noticed that he’s acting like a child more often than not, you might want to start thinking about fixing this issue in your relationship.

2) He finally revealed his true self

Believe it or not, at the beginning of relationships, people rarely show their true colors.

They usually hide it for some time, just to see if the relationship has potential.

So if you feel like your boyfriend has suddenly become annoying, it might be because he’s revealing his true self now that he knows there is a chance for a future together.

If this is the case, you should ask yourself what kind of future you want with him.

Do you want to be with someone who’s always going to be this annoying? Or would you rather not have any men in your life at all?

Whatever your answer, you should know that the fact that he’s started to become more annoying might even have some positive sides in this case.

In fact, you should know that if he doesn’t try to hide his feelings anymore, it means that he’s finally being honest with you.

And if he’s being honest, it’s only because he wants to be with you.

Yes, he’s annoying, and it makes you feel sad. But at least now you know that he’s not going to hide his feelings anymore.

Considering this, sometimes it might be worth it to handle his annoying behavior just to see if he’s really being honest with you.

Now that you know this, it’s time to decide if you want to be with someone who’s always going to be this annoying.

3) Get tailored advice to understand his intentions

I know what you’re going through with your boyfriend being so annoying lately because last year my relationship was seemingly reaching a dead end too.

I’m talking do-not-resuscitate. Over and out.

I had low expectations, but even my highest hopes were exceeded. The coach I spoke to at Relationship Hero quickly broke down the walls I’d built up in my relationship and helped me understand why my boyfriend was so annoying.

4) He has difficult time

Have you noticed recently that your boyfriend is struggling with things that he used to do so easily?

He is not able to concentrate on his tasks. He cannot handle his emotions. Or he can not get along with others anymore.

What’s more, he constantly looks sad or afraid, and he can’t tell you why.

Have you noticed any of these signs? If so, it is likely that he is having a difficult time.

In fact, most of the time, when a guy starts to behave in this way, he is struggling with some serious issue.

These issues are usually related to their life being out of balance. He might have lost his balance between what he wants and what others want from him or between his passion and his career.

He might have lost balance between his spiritual and physical self or between his family life and everything else.

Or maybe he is struggling with too many things at the same time, which makes him feel overwhelmed and unhappy.

Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure:

If your partner is going through a difficult time, it might be worth understanding why this happened to him in order to prevent further damage to your relationship.

If not managed properly, this can lead to serious problems, including cheating on you or even breaking up with you permanently, as well as losing trust in each other.

These are very real possibilities if you don’t handle such things in advance properly by addressing them together as a couple before they get out of hand and become bigger problems than they already are.

And you know what?

If he’s being annoying and doesn’t bother to invite you on dates or doesn’t want to talk to you about your relationship, it might be because he is too busy dealing with his own issues.

And it’s not the right time to break up with him and move on just yet.

You see, when a man is going through a difficult time, he usually wants to be left alone to deal with his issues.

So if you break up with him and dump him at this time, it will make everything much worse for him and he might not be able to recover from it.

5) He’s jealous

Okay, this one is the most common of all the reasons why your boyfriend might annoy you or act like he’s annoyed or unhappy with you.

If you feel like your man is jealous of you, then chances are that that’s the reason why he’s trying to annoy you.

You see, it’s some sort of revenge for you for making him feel bad.

And this is the most common reason why a man will try to make his girlfriend upset or jealous in order to manipulate her into doing what he wants or to make her feel bad about herself.

It’s all about control and manipulation, but that’s not what love is about.

If you are experiencing this kind of behavior from your man, then it might be worth addressing it together instead of letting the issue build up and destroy your relationship little by little.

But you know what else?

Sometimes it can be because he loves you and wants to protect his relationship with you.

How so?

Well, men are wired to be protective in nature. They want to make sure that they keep their women safe.

But sometimes, when a man loves someone too much, he tends to get overprotective and jealous in certain situations.

For example, if he thinks that you are interested in another guy, he will start acting like a controlling jerk. He will question your every move and accuse you of being unfaithful, even though it’s not true at all!

No wonder that’s pretty annoying!

That’s why you should think about setting boundaries in your relationship. What I mean here is that you should set some rules for your relationship that will help you keep it together and prevent your man from being too overprotective.

Just make sure that the rules are fair and not too strict because if you set too many rules, your man will start feeling suffocated and he will start looking for ways to break free from those rules.

And when he finds a way out, he might just break up with you.

So don’t get desperate just yet! Keep reading the rest of this article to learn more about why your boyfriend is annoyed or frustrated with you.

6) He’s trying to get your attention

However surprising it might sound, sometimes a man might try to annoy you just because he wants your attention

It can happen if he’s having a hard time dealing with something and, instead of talking about it with you, he chooses to take out his frustrations on you.

Or maybe he’s just lacking attention from you recently and that’s his way of getting it.

Sometimes men feel like they need help, but at the same time, they don’t want to get too close. This is another reason why they try to annoy their girlfriends and drive them away by being mean or hurtful towards them.

You see, some men are just not very good at getting their girlfriends’ attention. They don’t know how to do it in a way that doesn’t annoy them, and they end up doing some stupid things just to get her attention.

And sometimes, they can go too far with that, and they can even hurt their partners with their actions or words.

This is usually the case when men start thinking that their partner isn’t paying enough attention to them anymore. This usually happens when women start focusing on their careers or other things (like hobbies).

Some men will try anything in order to get back the amount of attention that they used to get from their girlfriends before they started working on themselves and becoming more independent from them.

One thing you should remember, though, is that if you are acting this way towards your boyfriend because you think that he doesn’t pay enough attention to you, then it’s a sign that you are being too needy.

7) Get a clear insight into his annoying behavior

Let’s be honest about your boyfriend’s annoying behavior.

It’s not easy. It’s enough to make you want to give up on love and walk away.

But I want to suggest a solution. You have all the tools you need to do this right now, right where you are.

I learnt about this from the modern-day shaman Rudá Iandê. He taught me how the lies we tell ourselves about love are part of what traps us in things like our partners suddenly becoming too annoying.

As Rudá explains in this transformational free video, love is available to us if we cut through the lies that we tell ourselves.

We need to face the facts about negative emotions and love.

The alternative is to end up in loveless relationships or endless dating frustration that only leaves us cold and empty.

The alternative is to be sunk in stagnant codependency and completely unable to resolve things like your partner’s annoying behavior.

Rudá’s teachings showed me a whole new perspective.

While watching, I felt like someone understood my struggles to find love for the first time – and finally offered an actual, practical solution to understand why my boyfriend was being so annoyuing to me.

If you’re done with wasting your time on love that doesn’t work, I invite you to watch this short video and open your mind to new possibilities.

8) He’s not as committed to the relationship as you are

Do you feel that your boyfriend is not as committed to the relationship as you are?

Do you feel like he doesn’t treat you the way that you deserve to be treated?

If yes, then it’s possible that your boyfriend is trying to annoy you because he’s not ready for a serious relationship with you.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, men who aren’t ready for a serious relationship will try to annoy their girlfriends in order to prove that they are not ready for it.

This is done in order to make the woman wonder why he’s acting like this, and in doing so, she might start questioning whether or not she wants to stay with him.

Of course, this is a very immature way of showing that he’s not ready for a serious relationship.

But here’s the thing:

When a man is really committed to a relationship, he will do everything in his power to make it work. He would do anything to make his partner happy, no matter how hard it might be for him.

He would try to make her feel special and important in his life, and he would always try to put her first. He would want their relationship more than anything else in this world.

However, if your man isn’t acting like this towards you, then that means that he’s not ready for a serious commitment yet. And maybe he never will be.

Now you probably wonder why this happens.

Well, the reason is that we want to receive exactly the same amount of affection, love, and commitment as we give to other people.

That’s a simple norm in social psychology called the reciprocity norm.

And if your boyfriend is breaking down this rule, then he’s not ready for a serious relationship with you.

9) He’s upset about something else in his life

Sometimes your man might just want to take out his frustration on you because he’s having a hard time dealing with something else in his life.

For example, if he lost his job recently or if he got into an argument with one of his friends or family members, then he will probably want to take out all of his frustration on you.

What should you do?

Well, the first thing you should do is to try to understand what’s going on in his life.

If you can understand that, then it will be much easier for you to talk about your problems.

And if you can’t seem to find a solution, then it’s best if the two of you take some time apart from each other.

10) You’re not giving him what he needs

Ever noticed that when your partner is in a bad mood, it’s usually because he’s not getting what he needs from you?

For example, if you’re not giving him enough attention, then he might get upset.

If you’re not giving your partner enough of what they need, then they will start to feel neglected and become upset or frustrated with you.

Why does this happen?

Well, sometimes your man might get jealous because he feels like you’re not giving him enough attention.

It all comes down to him feeling unloved and unappreciated by you, which makes him act like an asshole towards you sometimes.

So how do we solve this problem?

Well, one of the best ways is by making sure that we tell our boyfriends that we love them and appreciate them on a daily basis.

It’s also a good idea to make sure that we’re spending quality time with them every single day as well.

These are simple things, but they can go a long way in helping us resolve our relationship issues quickly and easily!

So if you can, try to be as understanding as possible and give him some time to calm down and get over whatever it is that has him so upset.

11) You’re an overly sensitive person

Although you’re looking for possible reasons for your boyfriend,  the real reason why he is being so annoying can be that you are an overly sensitive person.

You’re an overly sensitive person if you take everything that your boyfriend does as a personal attack against you.

This is common with people who often worry about things or people who are always trying to please others.

For example, if your boyfriend comes home late from work and you immediately assume that he’s cheating on you, then you’re probably an overly sensitive person.

If this is the case, then it’s good to remember that we can’t control other people’s behavior. We can only control our own behavior. And we should try to do what’s best for us in our relationships.

What should you do?

Well, there’s only one thing that you can do — become less sensitive.

If you want to become less sensitive, then it’s best if you start to practice mindfulness meditation.

According to the experts, mindfulness meditation is one of the most effective ways for a person to become less sensitive.

So, try to work on your feelings and don’t take these annoying behaviors too seriously. Instead,  try to see what’s going on in your boyfriend’s life and try to come up with a solution.

12) He feels too comfortable with you

Sometimes your boyfriend might start annoying you because he feels too comfortable with you.

In other words, he might be feeling too comfortable with your relationship and it might have slipped his mind that you two are in a relationship.

For example, if he’s used to seeing you every day, then he might start to think of you as just a friend or a roommate. And this can lead him to start annoying you because he feels like he’s being so casual in his relationship with you.

But if that’s the reason why he’s so annoying, when actually it’s a good thing, isn’t it?

Why?

Well, it’s good because it means that you are so comfortable with your relationship that you don’t feel the need to hide your affection for each other.

What should you do?

Well, all you have to do is to let your boyfriend know that he can be more intimate with you and that there’s nothing wrong with being affectionate when you’re in a relationship.

13) He wants out of the relationship

This is one of the most common reasons why your boyfriend can start annoying you.

In fact, it’s also one of the most common reasons why couples break up. And if this is the case, then this could be a deal-breaker for your relationship.

The truth is that your boyfriend might just want to end the relationship and move on with his life.

He is thinking of other girls and might want to move on.

That’s why he might start annoying you. He might want to get out of the relationship and move on with his life.

And if you notice that this is the reason why he’s become so annoying, then try to realize that he really doesn’t deserve your affection.

Try not to become too over-emotional about this, though.

And if the relationship is ending, then it’s perfectly fine because you can always find another guy who will treat you better than your ex-boyfriend did.

14) He’s disrespectful towards other people

Sometimes you’re not the only person who can be annoying to your boyfriend.

In other words, your boyfriend might be annoying other people as well.

For example, he might start being disrespectful towards other people around you and start saying things that he wouldn’t say to you. Or he might start saying things that are inappropriate to say to women.

And if this is the case, then there’s nothing wrong with it because he’s allowed to do it. But if you find out that this is the reason why your boyfriend can become so annoying, then try talking about it with him and see what he has to say about it.

Keep in mind that even though this is a common reason why guys start annoying their girlfriends, there are some situations where this is okay and it isn’t okay at all at the same time.

For example, if your boyfriend starts using vulgar words against other girls or if he starts harassing women on Facebook or Twitter just because they’re female, it means that he’s just disrespectful to women in general. And that’s something you need to talk about with him.

And if this is the case, you have to make him realize that it’s not right to be disrespectful towards people in general. And make sure to point out that you’re not going to tolerate that kind of behavior.

15) He doesn’t care about your feelings anymore

If none of the above-mentioned reasons are true, then, unfortunately, your man might just be a jerk who doesn’t care about your feelings and just wants to treat you badly.

Sadly, there are plenty of men like this out there. And unfortunately, there’s not much you can do about it except to walk away from such relationships as soon as possible.

If this is the case with your boyfriend, then I’m sorry for having to tell you this, but he will never change.

In fact, if he starts treating you better now that you’re on the brink of breaking up with him, then that means he’s manipulating you into staying in the relationship. And that’s not a good thing either.

The truth is that many guys treat their girlfriends like objects, instead of people.

And this is why your boyfriend might start annoying you. He might be treating you like an object instead of a person, and this can really upset you.

And if this is the case, don’t forget that he doesn’t deserve your affection anymore because he doesn’t care about how you feel anymore.

And it’s also because he doesn’t care what happens to your feelings.

Final thoughts

As you can see, there are a lot of reasons why your boyfriend might start annoying you.

It’s natural to have moments of friction with anyone you’re romantically involved with.

As time goes on in any relationship, it’s almost inevitable that one or both of you will get on the other person’s nerves from time to time.
