Texting is a great way to communicate and it’s also the most popular form of daily communication.
You might think that the fact that he’s not calling and only texting you once a day is a red flag indicating he’s not really into you.
But before you get ahead of yourself, take a look at the list of possible reasons he’s texting you only once a day. Let’s take a look at his texting habits and see what they mean.
1) He only texts once a day
When you first started dating he used to text you all the time.
Now, you’re lucky to get one text a day.
So, what does this mean?
Well, it could indicate that he’s gone cold on the relationship and doesn’t care as much as you’d like him to.
2) It takes him a long time to reply
When a guy is into you, he’ll always reply as soon as possible.
If he takes a long time to reply to your text, it could mean that he’s busy and hasn’t had a chance to look at his phone.
Another reason could be that his battery has run out.
However, if this is not an isolated incident and is something that happens often, it’s quite possible that he doesn’t really want to talk.
Simply put: He doesn’t really like you.
3) His hero instinct hasn’t been triggered yet
Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the reason he isn’t texting very often is because you haven’t triggered his hero instinct yet?
Wait, hear me out!
There’s a new theory in the relationship world that’s causing quite a stir – it’s called the hero instinct.
Coined by relationship expert James Bauer, this fascinating concept finally explains how men really think and feel in relationships.
And it’s something most women have never even heard of.
According to James Bauer, men don’t actually need a lot to feel content in their relationships. To most people’s surprise, it has nothing to do with sex.
You see, men have innate drivers. These are natural responses that they’re not even aware of. But when a woman comes along and triggers them, it causes a powerful response.
The result is a man who loves harder, commits wholeheartedly, and truly dedicates himself to the relationship.
So, how can you trigger your man’s hero instinct?
Well, you certainly don’t need to act like a damsel in distress or buy him a cape. It’s quite simple, actually.
All you have to do is give your man certain signals that make him feel needed in the relationship. These allow him to step to the plate and feel fulfilled in his role as your partner.
And these signals are revealed in this simple and genuine video by James Bauer.
The truth is, once you understand how the hero instinct works, there’s no telling what heights your relationship can reach.
So if you want to give your man what he truly wants from you, make sure to check out James Bauer’s excellent video. In it, he reveals the exact texts and phrases you can use straight away.
4) He hardly ever calls
Does he ever call you? When was the last time you heard from him?
Are you the one that calls him each time?
Here’s the thing:
Some guys hate to talk over the phone. It’s something that they dread.
That’s why they choose texting over calling is – because it’s easier for them. They might feel more comfortable texting their feelings or problems than talking about them on the phone.
Another reason that some guys don’t like to call is that they want to maintain some distance.
If he doesn’t want to be attached, or if he’s just not in the mood for talking, it can be easier for him to text you a quick message rather than make a phone call.
There are also times when guys may not want to talk on the phone because they’ll have to tell you something that might be hard for them to say in person.
5) He only sends texts late at night (aka booty calls)
Do you find that the only time your guy texts you is late at night?
It’s usually around midnight that you get an urgent text from your guy asking you to come over.
He says has a lot going on, but he’s not ready to talk about it just yet. He ends the text with “I need you,” and you’re always happy to oblige him.
Does this sound familiar?
I think this is a pretty common scenario for both men and women who don’t want a serious relationship.
If you find that your man sends you texts only at night, you’re gonna have to face up to the fact that you’re his booty call.
What can you do about it?
If you’re feeling like your guy is constantly texting you late at night, instead of responding with “yes” or “I’ll be there soon,” try talking about the situation and see if he can provide some insight into what he’s doing. It could help ease your mind and make things more transparent between the two of you!
6) He changes the subject
Do you find that when you’re texting about something important, your guy suddenly changes the subject?
For example, you ask questions such as “Why don’t you ever call me?” and “Where is this relationship going?” and he suddenly has an assignment that he’s got to get done.
He might feel that it’s not a good time to talk about those things over text so he changes the subject to something else. This is called deflection.
He’s trying to distract you from the real topic of conversation.
Instead of getting frustrated and insisting on getting an answer over text, try confronting him about it in person the next time you meet.
7) He never texts you about meeting up
Do you find that your guy hardly ever wants to meet up?
Maybe the two of you used to meet up all of the time but lately, he’s stopped texting you about it.
You wonder why.
When a guy is romantically interested in someone, he’s eager to spend time with them.
However, when a man is trying to decide whether or not he wants a relationship, he takes a step back from dating and doesn’t want to meet up anymore.
Eventually, if he decides against the relationship, he might end up ghosting his date.
So what can you do?
If he’s avoiding spending time together, bring up the subject and ask him what he wants.
8) His answers are short
Does he send you short texts? Do his one-word answers drive you insane?
Before you start to freak out and think that this means he doesn’t like you, you should know that guys and girls are different. They have different styles of communication.
Men get less excited when texting or talking over the phone than women do.
They’re direct and to the point.
They’re also fond of using emoticons. It’s much easier to just click on a bunch of emoticons than to express themselves.
So, if your guy’s texts are short and to the point, it could have nothing to do with you.
It could just be the way he texts. He doesn’t express his feelings very much because that just the way he is.
The truth is, understanding men is much easier than most women realize – we tend to overcomplicate things a lot.
I learned this from relationship expert Carlos Cavallo. He’s one of the world’s leading experts on relationship psychology and what men want from a relationship.
In this free video, he’ll explain everything you need to know about how to get through to your man.
9) He only texts you when he’s bored
It’s never a good sign if the guy you’re dating only texts you when he’s bored.
If he’s only texting you when he’s bored, it could mean that he has no real interest in you.
Turns out that he doesn’t care about the relationship and won’t put effort into making it better.
He’s just looking for some kind of distraction.
10) Texts you silly memes and gifs
What does it mean if he only texts you silly memes and gifs?
It’s one thing if he sends you a meme or gif that he knows will make you laugh from time to time.
It’s another if he only sends you memes and never talks about anything.
Here’s the truth:
It’s a sign that he’s not really into you and doesn’t want to make an effort to communicate with you, but he’s not ready to let you go and wants to keep his options open.
11) He doesn’t respond to your texts or calls
Finally, he stops texting you completely.
If he doesn’t respond to your texts or calls it means that either, he’s dead, or, he’s ghosting you.
Ghosting is the act of abruptly ending a relationship by refusing to engage in discourse with the other person.
What to do if your guy is losing interest?
Have you ever felt like your significant other has lost interest in you?
You might wonder what you did wrong and how to get him or her back.
Well, you’re not alone. Many people have also been in this situation where their partner has suddenly stopped paying attention to them.
It doesn’t have to be this way though. Take these steps to re-ignite the flame of passion in your relationship and turn him or her around again:
Keep him attracted
I know it sounds obvious, but if you want your guy to stay interested in you, you have to be attractive to him.
It’s no secret that men are visual creatures.
Don’t get too comfortable in the relationship that you stop caring about how you look because he’ll take notice.
Get a new haircut or get your nails done.
Put on that little black dress the next time you go out.
Go out of your way to look great for him and I guarantee you’ll keep him interested.
Cook for him
They say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
Prepare his favorite meal. Call his mum up and get the recipe.
OK, I know what you’re thinking:
Maybe you’re not much of a cook, but trust me, that’s what will make such a gesture even more appreciated.
If you want to keep your guy interested in you, be spontaneous.
For example, if you always stay in on Friday nights and watch a movie, take him out clubbing instead.
Or, if you’ve been married for a long time and he’s used to spending the weekends at home with you and the kids, get a sitter and surprise him with a weekend outing for just the two of you.
It might seem like a small gesture, but it will go a long way in restoring his faith in your relationship.
Have fun together
One way to keep your fella interested in you is to make sure that you have fun together.
Don’t just sit at home and watch Netflix, go out and do stuff.
Make a list of fun activities you can do together like:
- Go see that new musical.
- Get drunk in a karaoke bar and sing until it’s closing time.
- Go skinny dipping at night.
- Grab your friends and take them for a game of paintball.
Whatever it is, if you want to keep the sparks flying, it’s best to make sure that you’re having a good time together.
Ask for his help
Men like to feel useful. They want to feel needed.
So, ask for his help.
Anything from opening a jar for you to putting some IKEA furniture together for you will make him feel like a “hero”.
I mentioned this fascinating concept earlier: the hero instinct. When a man’s inner hero is triggered, he’s more likely to stay interested in you.
Just by knowing the right things to say to him, you’ll open a part of him that no woman has ever reached before.
And the easiest way to do so is by watching this free video by James Bauer. In it, he’ll reveal simple phrases and texts you can use to make your man truly yours.
If you want to keep the spark alive between you and your man, you have to be positive.
On the one hand, a positive attitude will make him feel good.
And when you’re feeling good, he feels good too.
On the other hand, negativity drains the life out of a man.
Bad things happen to everyone but it’s how we deal with these situations that makes us who we are.
Now it’s your turn:
The next time something bad happens, try to deal with the situation and move on. Don’t hang on to negative feelings. Don’t become resentful. Because if you do, you’ll drag your man down and he won’t want to be around someone so negative.
Make him feel special
There’s a big difference between your man and other guys.
He’s different from other guys because he’s special and that’s why you love him.
You love the way that he talks, his laugh, how he makes you feel. He’s handsome and he’s brilliant.
So make sure to let him know how you feel. Nurture those feelings because if there was one thing I learned about relationships it is absolutely crucial to keep them alive and strong!
Honor his family and friends
A man’s family and friends are important to him.
Show him that you respect them. Take an interest in spending more time with them.
Honor his family and his friends by giving them the time they deserve.
For example, invite his mom and dad for Sunday lunch at your place.
Or, organize game night and invite his friends.
If your man is doing something worthwhile or admirable, let him know that you support him and the project he’s working on, especially if he isn’t getting enough recognition from his peers.
No matter what he wants to do, be supportive.
Never tell him that his goals are silly and unatainable.
Treat him as an equal
He’s not your pet. He’s a human being, with feelings and thoughts that go on inside his head.
He wants to be treated as an equal and respected for who he is, so respect him for who he is.
The truth is that every man wants to be treated as an equal in the relationship. It makes sense, right? That means that if two people are living together there should be no room for feeling any type of inferiority.
