29 weird signs he’s cheating on you (eye opening list)

Anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows that there can be many signs somebody is cheating on you. 

While it is always difficult to know if your partner is cheating, listing some of the weird signs he’s cheating on you will help you figure out the truth.

1) He doesn’t want to do anything with you

If your partner starts avoiding you and spending less time with you or if your partner is just blatently not interested in spending time with you, then there is a good chance that he is cheating on you. 

The best way to deal with this problem is to confront him about it and ask him what the problem is.

You have to get to the bottom of his behaviour so having a good heart to heart is the best way forward.

However, if he doesn’t have a plausible reason for treating you like a leapor, it’s a weird sign that he’s doing some dodgy things, namely, cheating!

2) He spends a lot of time in the bathroom

If your partner spends a lot of time in the bathroom and he doesn’t have any plausible reason like having a stomach disorder or a bladder infections, it’s yet another weird sign that he’s busy doing things he shouldn’t!

He might be going in there so he can chat to his side chick, or he might even be going in there to satisfy himself.

3) He’s always staying out late

If your partner is staying out late at night, then there is a good chance that he is up to something. Maybe you go out together and he insists on staying later, so you leave.

4) He is overly protective of his phone

Previously, he left his phone lying around and didn’t have a care in the world if you used it to call a friend, go on the internet or, text.

Lately, this has become a thing of the past. He’s clutching onto it for dear life and it never leaves his side.

If your partner won’t let you touch his phone or doesn’t like you to see what’s on it, this is yet another weird sign that he might be cheating. 

He doesn’t want you near his phone because he’s busy with someone else and is trying to hide it from you.

5) He becomes defensive if you ask questions

If your partner gets defensive when you ask him questions or if he avoids answering them, not only is this a weird sign that he’s cheating on you, it’s a huge red flag.

You asked him why it took him three hours to leave work and suddenly he explodes into a fit of rage.

Sorry to say, but if he’s defensive, it’s not a good thing.

6) He doesn’t want to talk about his feelings

In the past, you two could talk about anything. There was no topic too taboo or nothing off limits. Lately, he clams up and doesn’t divulge anything.

This one really gets my goat!

When you ask him why he is borrowing money, and more importantly why he doesn’t give it back, he comes up with a lame excuse as to why.

Sadly, he’s likely spending money on his new fling and you’re footing the bill!

8) He becomes overly jealous and accuses you of cheating

You would think it would be the opposite but this is another weird sign that he’s cheating on you!

If your partner gets overly jealous or if he always wants to know where you are and who you’re with when you’re not at home, then the warning signs should be flashing!

Cheaters tend to accuse you of cheating to disguise their own feelings of guilt.

If this situation seems all too familiar, you need to take action and either catch him red handed or, kick him to the curb.

9) He doesn’t listen to you anymore

If your partner no longer listens to you or if he doesn’t care about what you have to say, then this is a clear sign that something is terribly wrong!

If your partner is cheating on you, then he will likely stop listening to everything you have to say because he isn’t interested in your opinions and feelings anymore.

Where in the past, the most exercise he got was reaching for the remote control, he’s suddenly obsessed with fitness. 

He’s doing cardio and lifting weights. He’s gone from a beer belly to a six-pack in just a few months. And he’s gone from being a slob to looking like he just stepped off the cover of Men’s Health.

He can’t stop talking about his new diet or workout routine, or how hard it is going to be dieting and lifting weights. 

He can’t stop talking about how great his new life is going to be once he loses all that weight, stops drinking so much coffee, and starts exercising regularly.

Sadly, this newfound interest in fitness has less to do about living a healthy lifestyle and more to do with looking good for his new lady.

17) He’s taking care of his appearance

He’s never been much of a fashionista, but now he’s taking care of his appearance. He’s wearing more cologne, he’s putting on more deodorant, and he even has a comb-over in the front.

He’s not just talking about it though, he’s actually doing it. He wakes up every morning and spends five minutes on his hair before he leaves the house. He spends a few minutes getting ready for work every morning too. He was never really a big hair guy before, but now that he thinks that his girlfriend might be interested in him, he can’t get enough of it.

18) He has a whole new host of likes, and dislikes

Oh dear, somebody’s been acting weird. Remember when he used to love your homemade chicken pie but now all he want’s to eat is gluten-free, lactose-free vegan quinoa?

Yup, he’s being influenced all right.

This new lady seems to be rubbing off on him and he’s trying to do more of what she likes and isn’t really bothered with you anymore.

He’s even started eating things that he used to hate. He has a whole new host of likes and dislikes, and he’s constantly trying new foods and trying to find out if they’re good for him, or if they’re just plain disgusting.

19) He doesn’t want to stay in

Whereas before, he was completely content to stay at home and binge-watch tv-series with you, things have changed.

Another weird sign he’s displaying is that he wants to go out every weekend. Clubbing, bars, restaurants, you name it.

20) He’s constantly on social media

I touched on phones and passwords previously, but this one is weird, especially if he’s never been a social media fan in the past.

This one is a biggie. 

If you notice that he’s been suddenly spending more and more time on his phone, and if you notice that he’s been liking a lot of the girls’ posts on social media, and if you notice that he’s actually been talking to other women, then something is up.

21) He’s cold and distant towards you

Well, in some cases it might be true that getting up earlier allows people to have more time for themselves before their day starts. 

However, there are a number of other reasons people might choose to get up early–including cheating on you!

26) He password protects everything

This is a huge sign that he’s cheating on you. He’s password protecting everything–his phone, his laptop, his email.

If he’s been cheating on you, it means that he has a hidden compartment in his brain where he stores all of his passwords and other important information.

It seems like the only thing that matters in your partner’s life is work. He might even be bragging about how much money he makes or how big of a promotion he got at the office.

29) He talks about other women

He might start talking about other women in front of you. He may even start asking you questions about what you think of them.

You might even find yourself in a situation where he has “accidentally” left his phone in the open and you see messages from other girls on there–messages that have been erased and then saved back to his phone.

This is a huge sign that he’s cheating on you. 

If your partner is always talking about other women, this means that he’s probably interested in someone else and it could be someone at work or it could be another girl in your neighborhood or it could be another girl online…it doesn’t matter because they’re all after the same thing–your man!

If you see any of these weird signs in your relationship, you should seriously consider ditching your cheating partner. 

He’s obviously not interested in keeping you around and it’s clear that he’s already found someone else that he wants to be with.

If your partner is cheating on you, there’s nothing wrong with you the problem lies with him.
