My review process
My name is Tina Fey and I’m the founder of Love Connection.
When I dove into this program, I wasn’t just looking to see if it gave great advice on whether or not you can fall in love with your partner all over again.
Instead, I was looking to see if it went to that next level and helped you rebuild the foundations of your marriage, giving you the best possible chance of a happy relationship over the long run.
In other words, I wanted to know whether this program was simply offering a Band-Aid solution to your problems, or was taking a long-term approach.
I’ve read a lot of relationship books over the years – some were great, others not nearly as good. After hearing good things about the Marriage, I wanted to give my readers my honest opinion on it.
With this in mind, let’s dive into the review.
Who Mend the Marriage can help
Have you hit a wall in your marriage?
Like you just woke up one day, and both of you realized things are so far off track, you have no idea what to do next?
It’s more common than you probably think.
As life goes on around you and things change, such as having kids, changing jobs, or other big life moments, your relationship changes too without you even realizing it.
If you don’t take the time to work on yourself and reconnect along the way, you will find yourself completely off track.
If you’ve suddenly found that your marriage is so far from where you want it to be, then this program is for you.
It doesn’t matter how you got to this place, what really matters is what you want to happen next.
Without a willingness to put in the hard yards to get your marriage back on track, then this course won’t have the power to make a difference.
Once you are ready and willing to work on your marriage, then you are definitely in the right place to take this program.
What to expect from Mend the Marriage
Mend the Marriage has been designed to help those whose marriage isn’t on the right track, or is even on the brink of divorce.
The program covers all the issues you might have found yourself facing:
- Jealousy, and much more.
The idea is to help you recover from these issues that have broken down your marriage and to build the foundation back up again. To help you rekindle that love for another while addressing all the issues you face in the process.
The book itself, focuses on the ABCD method, teaching you how to let go of past issues and build on your marriage by taking it through these four key stages.
The book starts by exploring where your relationship is at, how it got here, and where you can go from this place.
It’s a great chance to reflect on your marriage to date and the issues that actually brought you to this place.
- Where did you meet?
- What brought you together?
- How long have you been together?
- Where did it go off track?
It’s difficult to move on from any situation without first taking a good, long hard look at it.
At the very least, you’ll be able to recognize and pinpoint some of the harmful behaviors that are coming through in your own relationship, which is the first step in this process.
What is the ABCD system?
From here, we move into the ABCD system:
- Accept the Situation: This isn’t so black and white. Brad takes you through some real-life examples to help you understand how you can find yourself in a place of acceptance for where your relationship is. He dives into the inner qualities you need to muster to help make this process even easier for you, such as courage, optimism, and more.
- Build Resilience: In order to be strong enough to get through these next steps, Brad shares ways you can build emotional resilience to help you feel better as you go. It’s about finding what works for you and getting out there and enjoying life while all this is going on. Brad offers immediate actions you can take to feel the impact straight away.
- Commit to change: Some habits are so ingrained in our marriage it can be hard to make the changes. For example, you might be so used to arguing about the little things, or always putting each other down. It’s about understanding that while you can’t change your spouse, you can change your situation.
- Dedicating yourself to the task: This has to be my favorite section. Why? Because relationships are all about hard work and dedication. This section focuses on deciding what needs to be changed. And that’s entirely up to you. The following chapters offer some techniques to help you discover what this is and how to put it into place.
Each chapter is a step in the right direction, from recognizing where you are to working out exactly what needs to be fixed in your relationship.
These are big moments.
It’s practical and to the point, without sugar-coating the hard work involved in maintaining a healthy and successful relationship.
How much does it cost?
The Mend The Marriage online course consists of a 200+ page eBook, a four-hour audio course, a 7-part video series, worksheets to assist couples PLUS 3 free bonuses.
The cost is $49.95.
Included in the price is the main eBook, videos, audio, and bonuses outlined above.
I think it’s pretty compelling value considering all the resources you get. And if it can help improve (or even save) your marriage, then the price will be forgotten pretty quickly.
Who is Brad Browning?
Author Brad Browning is a divorce expert and relationship coach from Vancouver, who has been helping couples fix their marriages for more than a decade now.

I personally recommend watching How to Save Your Marriage (Follow These CRUCIAL Tips to Prevent Divorce) as the perfect introduction to Brad Browning.
The pros of the book…
Here is what I liked most about Mend the Marriage.
- Personal approach: I love the personal approach Brad Browning has taken in the course. He really takes the time to connect with you throughout. In fact, it almost feels like you’re in a couple’s therapy session right there with him.
- Appeals to all: He interchanges throughout the book using ‘she’ and ‘he’, which is making it as relatable as possible to both parties, which I think is a really nice touch as well.
- ‘Ask the Counsellor’ sessions: The additional ‘Ask the Counsellor’ sessions throughout the book add even more merit to the program, offering intermittent professional opinions to help you deal with certain circumstances. I really enjoyed and valued this change in perspective and felt it really added to the book.
The final thing I love is that Brad doesn’t try and offer a one-size-fits-all solution.
He really helps you get to the bottom of your own marriage and your own situation and helps you solve your own problems. I love how effectively he does this throughout the book and can see how much value this adds to any couple going through these struggles.
The cons of the book…
The one thing I’m not sure about is taking the course alone.
Brad Browning suggests that you really can mend your marriage on your own, and has even helped a number of people do this.
I’m hesitant about suggesting this to couples I work with. Relationships are so much stronger when the two of you are on the same page and work together towards a common goal.
While I do believe you can definitely make improvements to your marriage on your own, when it comes to saving your marriage and bringing it back from the brink of divorce, it’s something both parties should be on board for.
But that’s just my personal opinion!
The 3 bonus eBooks
Here’s what you get from the three bonus ebooks:
1) Money Matters Guide
There is nothing that ruins marriages more than financial problems.
How many arguments in a marriage are about finance? It can be so draining—both emotionally and sexually.
Brad Browning uses this guide to help couples with festering finance issues, so you don’t hate each other, so you don’t stop being intimate and so you don’t lose your sanity.
It’s a great way to get on the same page when it comes to your finances.
2) The Infidelity Survival Guide
Trust and faithfulness are the bedrock of marriage, or so they say.
But let’s be honest, in a world full of options, fidelity and faithfulness are not easy for either sex. This guide is the ultimate must-read for those who find both problematic.
Browning teaches couples not to assume their other half is having an affair, as you could be dead wrong. He also reveals that most affairs overall go undetected, so you may think you’re in a happy marriage when you actually aren’t.
Facts are indeed facts!
And finally, just because your partner cheats on you sexually, doesn’t necessarily mean that he/she doesn’t love you. Often a loss of intimacy in relationships can lead to adultery, which doesn’t have anything to do with you as a person.
3) Children and Divorce EBook
Divorce is really tough on kids and can affect them through adolescence and adulthood.
This thoughtful eBook takes couples through the stages of divorce and how that correlates with the emotional impact on children. Brad also talks about how parents can often play out victim scenarios.
No parent wants their divorce or temporary break-up to psychologically affect their children for life. Browning teaches couples how to avoid that tragic outcome.
Even if divorce isn’t on the cards, it’s worth having a read-through of this eBook to give you an idea on why it’s so important to work on your marriage for the kids.
Is Mend the Marriage worth it? My verdict
If you’re ready and willing to give your marriage a second chance, then this program is perfect for you. It has the potential to not just help you move on from the past, but also to forge a way for your relationship to move forward, stronger than ever before.
Backed with video courses, worksheets, and the audiobooks, it’s a comprehensive program that really dives into the issues and gives you a step-by-step guide on how you can work through them to come out the other side in a much happier marriage.
If you’re wanting to avoid becoming just another statistic, then I highly recommend diving into this course. Even if your other half isn’t completely on board just yet, you will still benefit from the tactics and advice Brad offers in this program.
At the very least, you can take them with you into a new relationship.
Brad Browning has put together an extensive guide that I would be all too happy to recommend to any of my clients struggling with this issue.
Mend the Marriage definitely has the potential to do exactly what it promises.
Can a relationship coach help you too?
If you want specific advice on your situation, it can be very helpful to speak to a relationship coach.
I know this from personal experience…
A few months ago, I reached out to Relationship Hero when I was going through a tough patch in my relationship. After being lost in my thoughts for so long, they gave me a unique insight into the dynamics of my relationship and how to get it back on track.
If you haven’t heard of Relationship Hero before, it’s a site where highly trained relationship coaches help people through complicated and difficult love situations.
In just a few minutes you can connect with a certified relationship coach and get tailor-made advice for your situation.
I was blown away by how kind, empathetic, and genuinely helpful my coach was.
