We’ve all heard the stories about how people get married for the sake of getting married, without stopping to think about what that means for them and their life.

1) You’ve got the time to do what you want to do.

You might be thinking, “Hey that sounds like a great time to get married, so I should rush out and do it then,” but you’re not missing anything. 

If you’re not happy with your life now, there’s no reason you should be rushing into marriage so quickly, assuming that marriage will make you happier. 

You’ve got the time to find what makes you happy, and that might not necessarily be a relationship.

You’re not going to lose your chance at happiness or love just because you’re getting older. You’ve got plenty of time to choose a partner and fall in love with them, just like anyone else.

With few exceptions, people tend to marry someone who’s pretty much like them.
