Introverts are often thought of as shy and withdrawn.

But, that doesn’t mean we don’t want or need to be loved!

With a tendency to be very guarded, it’s difficult to tell whether or not an introverted person is falling in love.

But I’m here to show you all the subtle signs that will reveal that an introvert is falling in love!

Let’s go!

1) You’re always trying to find ways to make the other person feel better

Are you taking the you before me stance with a certain someone?

If this is the case, it can be a huge sign that you’re falling for someone.

You’re constantly trying to make the person feel better and you want to make sure that they’re okay.

When you care about someone, you want them to be happy and if they’re not, it can really bother you.

2) You are willing to let them into your space

As an introvert, there’s no better place than home.

You feel comfortable on your own turf. That’s just the way you are!

So, if you’re contemplating inviting someone to come and share your sanctuary and sanctuary, it’s a pretty obvious sign that you’re catching feelings for them.

But, with that said.

You’re only comfortable doing so in small doses.

As an introvert in love, you will find yourself wanting this person with you but, will also enjoy having alone time.

But maybe you need to take a different approach to open up and let someone in.

Maybe you need to work on the most important one you’ll ever have before you can fix the others:

The one you have with yourself.

I learnt about this from the shaman Rudá Iandê. In his excellent, free video on cultivating healthy relationships, Rudá reveals where most of us go wrong in our relationships.

So why should you listen to Rudá’s life-changing advice?

Well, he uses techniques derived from ancient shamanic teachings, but he puts his own modern-day twist on them. He may be a shaman, but he’s made the same mistakes in love that you and I have.

And now he’s found the solution, he wants to share it with you.

So if you’re done with feeling less than worthy, if you’re tired of toxic relationships, and you want to cultivate real, genuine love, check out his simple yet effective advice.

3) You notice the little things about them

Are there little things about this person that stand out to you?

If you’re falling for someone, it’s likely that they have a lot of character and personality.

You’ll see qualities about them that stand out to you, making it easier for you to connect with them on a deeper level.

It may be difficult at first to spot these things because they might not seem very important or unique – but as the relationship develops, those little details will start to make all the difference.

You may find yourself noticing certain characteristics such as the way that they smile or how they look at you when they think that you’re not looking, another subtle sign of an introvert falling in love.

4) You find yourself thinking about them a lot in the day

Are you constantly thinking about this person?

If so, this could be a sign that you’re falling for someone.

You may find yourself being distracted by thoughts of them throughout the day and wondering what it would be like to spend more time with them.

Clearly, this person has made an impression on you and you’re mind can’t stop thinking about them!

Yup, another clear-cut sign of an introvert falling in love.

5) You’re always trying to impress them

If you love someone, you want to impress them.

If this is the case, there are some subtle signs that can tell if it’s love or if it’s just a crush, and here are some of those signs.

You may find yourself trying to impress your crush by doing little things like trying to dress a little better or trying to be a little more interesting in the conversation.

You feel the need to put in more effort and try harder because you want them to see how great of a person you are!

If your crush is an introvert, they’ll appreciate that you’re making an effort and will definitely be impressed with your efforts.

6) You start spending more time with them without realizing it

If you notice yourself spending more time with this person, it could be a sign that you’re falling for them.

You may find yourself planning time together, but not really realizing that it’s happened until after the fact.

This is one of those subtle signs that can tell if it’s love or if it’s just a crush.

If this person is an introvert, they’ll likely be okay with spending more time together because they’re more comfortable in smaller groups.

7) You can’t stand small talk and avoid it like the plague but…..

This is a huge introvert peeve.

Small talk.

You’d rather cut off your own arm and beat yourself over the head with it than make standard-grade conversations with other people.

But when you’re catching feelings, you might find yourself changing…

If you’re feeling drawn to someone special, you will find yourself doing everything, even moving out of your comfort zone in the hopes of getting closer to them.

8) You’re very shy and get nervous easily

Introverts tend to be naturally shy and nervous around people but more so when they’re falling in love.

If you’re feeling way more nervous and shy around the person you like, it could be a subtle sign that you’re in love with them.

The good news is that there are ways to help you control your nerves so that you don’t come off looking like an awkward dork!

And it’s as simple as taking a breath.

When I was struggling the most in life, I was introduced to an incredible free breathwork video created by the shaman, Rudá Iandê.

With a focus on dissolving stress and boosting inner peace, it was hard to resist giving it a go.

But with the turbulence of emotions I was facing and the pain of being an introvert in love, I didn’t have high hopes. I had little self-esteem and confidence? Out of the window.

So what made this breathwork video so effective?

Well, it comes down to the man behind it all. Rudá created these unique flows using a combination of ancient shamanic techniques and healing breathwork sequences.

He’s spent years developing them to help people find their inner peace.

So, if you feel a disconnect with yourself due to your anxiety, I’d recommend checking out Rudá’s free breathwork video.

He’ll give you the tools to start injecting peace and confidence back into your life, from the very first breathwork exercise.

9) You think about them more than other people in your life

We all have that one person on our mind every now and then, but if there’s someone special to us, we’ll find ourselves thinking about them more often than not.

If this is the case for you, it’s a subtle sign that you might be falling for this person.

You’ll find yourself thinking about them when you’re not with them, or even when you’re with other people.

10) You’re more talkative and have more to say

A talkative introvert!?

Yup, love can make us do things we wouldn’t otherwise do!

When you like someone, it’s as if your brain and mouth are connected by a string.

You can’t stand the thought of silence and always want to be talking and having a conversation with this special person.

In fact, it’s almost as if you don’t realize how much you’re talking until after the conversation is over!

This is one of those subtle signs that are hard to ignore.

11) You feel like they make an effort to get to know you better

Introverts tend to be very shy in social situations, but when they care about someone special, they do make an effort to get to know them better.

If you feel like the person you like is trying to get to know you better, then it’s a subtle sign that they might have feelings for you too.

You will find yourself moving out of your comfort zone as you’re hell-bent on getting to know them better and vice versa!

12) You’ve become more outgoing and relaxed around them

This is a subtle sign that shows how much you like this person.

Introverts usually like to keep their own thoughts and feelings hidden.

This is because they feel embarrassed or uncomfortable in the spotlight, which can make it difficult for them to interact with other people.

When they’re around someone special, though, introverted people often become more open and talkative. This shows that you find this person interesting and appreciate them very much.

A subtle sign that you’re falling in love!

13) You’re always looking for an excuse to hang out with them

If there’s a special someone in your life, chances are you’ll find yourself looking for every opportunity to spend time with them.

You’ll make plans with them, even if it means going to an event or place you don’t really want to go to.

You’ll do this because you want to be around them and spend time with them. This is a subtle sign that shows how much you like them.

14) You’re excited about the future together

If you’re thinking about the future and how you think things will turn out for the two of you, it’s a subtle sign that you like this person.

It’s not unusual for people in relationships to talk about their future together, but when we’re talking about someone we have feelings for, this is a telltale sign that love is present in our lives.

15) You feel energized after spending time with them

If you feel energized and motivated after spending time with a special someone, then you’re definitely falling in love.

This is because when we care about someone, we want to be around them as much as possible. This can be very fulfilling and make us feel good.

16) Your heart skips a beat when they walk into the room

When we like someone and have feelings for them, our hearts tend to beat faster when they enter the room. This is because we’re excited to see them and be around them.

If you’re feeling this way, don’t be afraid to tell the person you like how you feel. It might feel scary at first, but it’s worth it in the end!

17) They make you feel good about yourself

When we care about someone, we want to make a good impression on them and show them that we have potential and are worthy of their time and attention.

If you’re falling in love, you’ll want to make the other person feel good about themselves, as well. You want them to be proud of you and like who you are.

18) You’re not afraid to open up to them

When we like someone and we have feelings for them, it’s much easier for us to open up to them.

We feel comfortable around them and don’t feel threatened or worried about what they might think of us.

We can be ourselves around them because we know they accept us for who we are.

Conclusion

If you’ve been wondering whether or not you’re falling in love, these signs can help you determine whether or not that’s the case.

If you’ve noticed more than a few of them, then it’s likely that you are falling in love.

When we fall in love, it’s a beautiful thing.

It can be overwhelming and scary at times, but if we open ourselves up to the experience and allow ourselves to enjoy it, then it can be very fulfilling and worth it in the end.
