Have you ever found yourself falling for someone only to be left confused and hurt when they pull away?

It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of romance, especially if it’s an Aquarius man. But why do Aquarius men pull away when in love? I’ll tell you the reasons today:

1) They don’t want to commit

Aquarius men are notoriously bad at commitment.

This is because they are natural-born explorers.

They love the excitement of the unknown and are always looking for the next big adventure.

Aquarius men are also known to be commitment-phobic.

This means that they have an irrational fear of commitment and an inability to commit to a long-term relationship.

You see, Aquarius men are not good at being tied down, and they are not having any of it.

This is because commitment for many Aquarius men is a trap.

It means that they can’t explore the many other things that are out there.

It means that they might have to settle down and find a job that they might not love but will pay the bills.

Does that mean an Aquarius man will never commit to you?

No!

The right person (and more importantly, the right connection), will make an Aquarius man want to change.

So how do you get an Aquarius man to commit to you?

How do you make him want to be tied down?

You need to understand that the way you make him fall for you is exactly the same way you will keep him around.

For example, if he loves talking about his passions, then ask him about them!

Ask him about his favorite movie, or what he wants out of life.

The more important thing is that when he talks about these things, listen. Don’t just pretend like it’s interesting; really listen and try to understand why he loves it so much.

If you can connect with him on a deeper level in this way, then it will be easier for him to connect with you as well.

He will also feel more comfortable being tied down because he feels connected with you on a deeper level, and not just a physical one (which all Aquarius men crave).

2) They have trust issues

Aquarius men are known to have trust issues.

This is because they are primarily focused on themselves and what they want out of life.

They are very independent people who don’t want to be tied down by anyone else.

This means that they don’t have time to deal with other people’s emotions and mood swings, including your own.

Aquarius men are especially bad at trust issues when they are in a romantic relationship.

This is because they don’t know how to truly let go of control and trust you wholeheartedly.

Aquarius men are also known to be very private people and they don’t like to open up to anyone because they don’t want to let anyone close enough to hurt them.

They have trust issues because they don’t want to open up to you because they don’t want to let you in.

You see, trust issues, unless warranted in any way (like through a betrayal, for example), are almost always an inside job.

The other person can’t make you trust them completely. Sure, they can definitely help a bit and make things easier, but if someone has trust issues, they have to work on that themselves.

So, if that is the reason your Aquarius man is pulling away, then you can’t really do too much about it.

All you can do is make him feel as safe as possible, but the rest is up to him.

3) You don’t bring out his inner hero

Okay, this might sound a bit weird and crazy at first, but a really important thing for Aquarius men is to feel like your hero.

There’s a new theory in the relationship world that’s causing quite a stir – it’s called the hero instinct.

Coined by relationship expert James Bauer, this fascinating concept finally explains how men really think and feel in relationships.

And it’s something most women have never even heard of.

According to James Bauer, men don’t actually need a lot to feel content in their relationships. In fact, what they need has nothing to do with sex.

Men have certain innate drivers. And when a woman comes along and triggers them, it causes a powerful response. The result is a man who loves harder, commits wholeheartedly, and truly dedicates himself to the relationship.

So, how can you trigger your man’s hero instinct?

The easiest thing to do is to watch this simple and genuine video by James Bauer.

The truth is, once you understand how the hero instinct works, there’s no telling what heights your relationship can reach.

So if you want to give your man what he truly wants from you, make sure to check out James Bauer’s excellent video. In it, he reveals the exact texts and phrases you can use straight away.

4) They are dealing with personal things

Every person has their own baggage. Aquarius men are no different.

They have issues that they have to deal with. Aquarius men have trust issues, they are afraid of letting you in, and they sometimes deal with personal issues, like family stuff.

This means that they are dealing with a lot on the inside.

When a relationship is new, there isn’t a lot of room to deal with these personal issues. That’s why sometimes an Aquarius man will pull away when in a relationship.

They are dealing with internal demons that they need to sort out.

They might be dealing with grief or a death in the family.

Maybe they are dealing with a mental illness. They might be dealing with an addiction.

There might be a huge transition in their life. Whatever it is, they need time to deal with these things.

You see, when you have personal stuff going on, it’s really hard to focus on a relationship, especially when it is still kind of new.

They need time to deal with their issues. And once they do, they will come back around.

If you notice that this might be the reason an Aquarius man is pulling away, try to give him some time and offer your support.

Who knows, maybe this can be an experience you can bond over.

5) Aquarius men want their independence

Aquarius men are notorious for wanting to remain independent.

When they are in a relationship, they don’t want to be tied down. They want to be able to come and go as they please.

They want to be able to do what they want, when they want, and how they want.

They don’t want to have to answer to anybody.

Aquarius men want to be able to do their own thing. They want to be able to go out and have fun with their friends whenever they want.

They don’t want to have to take you with them. They don’t want to have to keep you happy.

Sounds a bit selfish? Well, it can definitely be that way sometimes!

Because Aquarius men love their independence so much, the idea of being in a relationship can be scary for them, especially at the beginning.

It’s a feeling they aren’t used to. They can feel trapped. And this is why they will sometimes pull away when they are in a relationship.

It is a way for them to keep their independence and stay true to themselves.

They don’t want to have to make any changes, and being in a relationship means that you have to make changes, big or small, whether it’s changing your schedule or your living habits for the better!

Aquarius men need time to adjust to this feeling of being in a relationship. It can be terrifying for them!

So give them some time, offer your support and help them adjust if needed.

However, if he doesn’t come around, then maybe he is not worth waiting for.

You deserve someone who chooses you over his independence, and who knows that he can be independent with you!

6) They are afraid of losing themselves in a relationship

Aquarius men value their independence and they don’t want to lose that.

I mentioned how they don’t want to give up their ability to do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want.

When in a relationship, they are going to have to start compromising.

They are going to have to start giving up things that they like to do, sharing you with your friends, and giving you space to do your own thing.

They don’t want to have to do any of those things. They don’t want to be forced to consider your feelings and your needs.

Aquarius men want to be able to do their own thing. They want to be able to come and go as they please and do whatever they want whenever they want however they want.

But the main thing is, they don’t want to lose themselves. Maybe they’ve had a bad experience in the past where they lost themselves in a relationship, and now they don’t want to repeat that.

They don’t want to lose their sense of self, their independence, and the freedom to do whatever they want.

This is why Aquarius men often pull away from relationships. They are afraid of losing themselves.

However, if you can reassure him that you won’t take away his sense of self and his independence, then he may be willing to give it a try!

I mentioned this fascinating concept earlier: the hero instinct. When a man’s inner hero is triggered, he’s more likely to commit to you.

Just by knowing the right things to say to him, you’ll open a part of him that no woman has ever reached before.

And the best way to do so is by watching this free video by James Bauer. In it, he’ll reveal simple phrases and texts you can use to make your man truly yours.

Here’s a link to the excellent video again.

7) They value their freedom

Aquarius men are natural-born explorers. They love the freedom that comes with being single.

By now, you know that they love being able to do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want.

They value that freedom and don’t want to lose it. They value their freedom so much that they don’t even want to put it at risk by being in a relationship.

They don’t want to have to consider your feelings and needs. They don’t want to have to compromise.

They don’t want to have to consider what you want to do. They just want to do their own thing.

Now: does being in a relationship automatically mean losing your freedom? Not necessarily! It depends on the partner you’re with.

So, if you show him through your actions that you will not be a threat to his freedom, then he will probably be okay.

However, if you feel like you want him to pay more attention to you and your needs aren’t met, he might not be the right fit for you.

8) Their priorities lie elsewhere

Aquarius men are focused on their own freedom and their own independence.

This means that they don’t want to have to consider your feelings and needs. They are focused on doing what they want, whether that’s a business or hobby they have.

They don’t want to have to compromise and give you space to do your own thing.

They don’t want to have to consider your needs.

They don’t want to have to make you a priority in their life when their life is already so full of their own things.

You see, their life is already packed with work, friends, and hobbies. They don’t want to add a romantic relationship on top of everything else.

If that is the case, the question is, do you really want to be with this man?

Think about it: you deserve someone who makes you a priority and who chooses to spend his time with you because he truly wants to.

This doesn’t sound like he is that kind of man.

If he can’t make you a priority, maybe he’s not the right guy for you.

9) The relationship is progressing too quickly

Aquarius men are bad at making commitments because they are explorers. They love the excitement of the unknown and don’t want to be tied down by a relationship.

They don’t want to have to consider anybody else’s feelings or needs.

Especially, when a relationship is progressing quickly, that can make an Aquarius man freak out and pull away.

You see, with their independent lifestyle, noticing that a relationship is quickly getting more serious can be scary.

It can make him feel like he has to choose right away where this relationship is going, which is the last thing an Aquarius man wants.

They want to be free and independent.

They don’t want to have to worry about that right now.

If that’s the case, maybe you should take a step back and reexamine the relationship.

Is he really worth it? Talk to him about it all and maybe take things a bit slower, if it makes you both more comfortable!

10) They are insecure

Getting to know someone closer means letting them in and letting them see your flaws. Aquarius men are sometimes pretty insecure and they don’t want to show that side of themselves to you.

They don’t want to have to come clean with their feelings and tell you their deepest fears and insecurities.

They don’t want to be vulnerable around you because they don’t trust you yet.

You see, they are afraid that if they open up emotionally, you will hurt them or leave them.

That is why even though it may seem like he is pulling away from the relationship, he might actually be pulling away because he is scared to get closer.

In that case, talk to him openly, be vulnerable yourself and tell him that he can take his time with opening up to you!

11) They feel like they are being judged

An Aquarius man does not like feeling like they are being judged or criticized by the people around them because they feel like they are always being watched or talked about behind their back.

In fact, this is something that most Aquarius men struggle with very often in their lives because they have such magnetic personalities but with deep insecurities.

If your Aquarius man feels judged by you, try to talk to him about it and try to help him understand that you are not judging him.

You can tell him that you are only trying to be supportive of his emotions and help him through any insecurities he may have.

You see, most Aquarius men don’t want the people around them to see their ugly side, they want them to see their prettier side.

12) They are afraid of letting you in

Aquarius men are afraid of letting you in because they don’t want to get hurt.

They don’t want to open up to you and let you see their true self because that means that you will learn about all their flaws.

You will see their bad sides. You will see their good sides.

Simply put, they don’t want to let you in because they don’t want to be judged. They don’t want to be looked at as less than perfect.

Aquarius men want to maintain the persona of being a cool, calm, and collected person who doesn’t get tied down.

They want to appear as though they have their life together.

And who doesn’t? Romantic relationships are scary, and letting people in close enough to hurt us is scary, too!

But for the right person, we take that risk. If your Aquarius man is pulling away, he might be having those same exact fears, but trust me, if he likes you enough and cares about you, he will come around.

All you have to do is give him the time he needs to realize that you are the right person for him and that you won’t hurt him.

He might still like you!

As you can see, there are plenty of reasons why an Aquarius man might be pulling away, and most of them don’t even have anything to do with you, personally.

Try to figure out what is bothering him and work on it together. If he can’t figure it out, consider whether he is the right man for you.

I touched on the hero instinct earlier – it’s the perfect remedy for the situation you’re facing.

Why?

Because once a man’s hero instinct is triggered, he’ll only have eyes for you. You’ll reach a part of him that no woman has ever managed to reach before.

And in return, he’ll be compelled to commit to you and love you like he’s never loved another woman.

So if you’re ready to take that plunge and reach new heights in your relationship, make sure to check out relationship expert James Bauer’s invaluable advice.
