A woman that knows her worth is not afraid to be herself.
She doesn’t try to please others; she cares about pleasing herself.
She doesn’t spend her time feeling guilty or worthless when those around her are unhappy.
A woman who knows her worth is the one that has a high opinion of herself and believes in what she does and stands for.
This post discusses how you can tell if a woman knows her own value.
If you learn to display these characteristics, then you’ll be a confident woman who knows what she deserves in life.
1. She doesn’t try to be someone she’s not
A woman who is confident in herself is also true to herself. She doesn’t try to be someone she’s not.
By staying true to herself, she understands her value as a human being and also, the value of every other human being.
We’re all unique. When you’re an authentic person, you understand that everyone has value.
Sure, we all have weaknesses. A strong woman accepts that.
The difference is that a woman who knows her value doesn’t hide her weaknesses. She doesn’t fear feeling vulnerable.
Instead, she puts herself out there and learns from her mistakes and failures.
2. She doesn’t feel unworthy
This is obviously a given, but it’s important to explain why a woman with worth doesn’t feel unworthy.
The phrase “know your worth” is a common saying that has almost become a cliché. It’s usually used to imply that someone lowered standards to such an extent that they need to be reminded that they deserve better.
When we say a woman doesn’t feel unworthy, it’s because she has made her boundaries clear.
She knows what she deserves, and she knows what she doesn’t.
She won’t put up with poor treatment from a man or disrespect in any way because she knows as an individual that she deserves better.
A confident woman doesn’t live in fear of feeling unworthy because she knows that feeling unworthy is just not real.
Everyone will feel like they don’t measure up from time to time. A woman who knows her value doesn’t let that stop her.
She moves forward and follows her passions, whatever they may be, and ensures that she only puts time and energy into worthy endeavors so that she can get back on the path of self-improvement.
This is why a woman who knows her worth doesn’t need someone else to define it for her.
She defines her own worth, and she makes sure that she stands up for herself and fights for what she believes in.
The bottom line is this:
A woman who knows her worth understands that the greatest gift you could ever give yourself is to let go of the fear of not being good enough or seeking validation from others.
3. She doesn’t chase love
A woman who is sure of herself knows she doesn’t need to chase a man, a relationship, or anything for that matter. She’s secure within her love for herself, and she knows that external love should act as a bonus, not as a necessity to her life.
The issue that most women (and men) have is that they lack the foundations of self-love. They rely on validation from others, which can easily be taken away.
So how can you deal with feeling insecure in love in a practical way?
I know just the thing – the free Love and Intimacy video by the world-renowned shaman Rudá Iandê.
While watching it, I felt like someone understood my struggles to find love (and keep it) for the first time – and finally offered an actual solution to creating healthy attitudes towards love.
But it all starts with your inner relationship. Once you learn how to love yourself, giving and receiving love becomes a whole lot easier.

4. She can sometimes appear cold
A woman who knows her worth is not one to play the fool. This is why sometimes she can come across as cold and ruthless.
If you’re going to disrespect her or even try to put her down, then she’s going to retailte. She respects herself too much not to.
But this attitude didn’t develop overnight. It takes a long life of suffering, pain and just plain unluckiness to turn into a cold woman that knows exactly what she deserves.
Perhaps it’s a boy who cheated on her, or a man who left her after they were just getting serious.
Whatever, or whoever it is, she’s only acting cold because she knows her worth and she doesn’t want someone else to take advantage of her ever again.
5. She doesn’t need a man to make her happy
A woman who knows her worth and is confident in herself doesn’t need a man to make her happy.
She already has a fulfilling life that makes her truly happy.
She’s not just waiting around for Mr. Right to come along and sweep her off of her feet.
Yes, that can still happen, and she’ll enjoy it when it does, but it doesn’t change the way she feels about herself.
Whether she’s single or taken, she enjoys her life and makes sure that she keeps moving forward.
She’s living a life of happiness, contentment, and freedom, whether she is with a man or not.
6. She avoids the “he didn’t call me back so I’m not worthy” mindset
A woman who knows her worth doesn’t put her self-worth in the hands of someone else.
She doesn’t say to herself, “If he calls me back then I’ll be happy”.
That’s not how a confident woman operates. A woman who knows her worth understands that she is always deserving of love and attention.
The minute you start defining your worth by someone else’s actions is the minute you lose the power to control your own life.
This is why a strong woman doesn’t depend on someone else’s validation to make her feel worthy.
She already understands who she is and doesn’t let anyone else’s opinions mess with that.
7. She’s not afraid to be vulnerable
Women who know their worth don’t overcompensate to avoid feeling vulnerable.
Instead, they make it known that they are human and they have feelings too.
They’re vulnerable and open in their relationships, because they have a positive outlook on love and relationships.
They know that they could never be truly free and happy if they don’t embrace themselves for who they truly are.
This is why it doesn’t scare a strong woman to express herself fully.
She already understands her worth so showing her vulnerable side doesn’t hurt her ego.
In fact, being vulnerable is a way to express her true feelings and show her worth to the entire world.
8. She has purpose and meaning in her life
A woman who knows her worth usually does so because she’s found meaning and purpose in her life. She follows the path that makes her soul happy and her heart content. She doesn’t stay stuck in jobs that make her miserable, or leading lifestyles that don’t align with her value.
At Love Connection, we often promote the idea of finding yourself and building your inner relationship before creating healthy relationships with others.
But the same concept can be applied to all areas of your life.
You see, so many of us fall into the trap of self-development, following techniques prescribed by gurus and life coaches, techniques that offer temporary solutions, but very little in the way of transforming your life in the long run.
I found myself in this predicament not long ago. I knew there was more to my life than what I was living, but I could never seem to reach “success”.
That was before I came across this incredible masterclass, created by the co-founder of Ideapod, Justin Brown.
By drawing upon his own life experiences, failures, and successes, plus using the guidance of world-renowned shaman Rudá Iandê, Justin has created the ultimate guide on finding your personal power.
So what’s the catch? What new-age technique is he promoting?
There isn’t one.
You want to find the perfect relationship for you? Look within. You want a job that fulfills you? A life that brings you contentment and peace? Look within.
His message is simple. Let’s stop wasting time on techniques that get us nowhere. Let’s start focussing on the incredible pool of potential within us.
So if you’re lacking purpose in your life, if you’d like to improve your self-worth and confidence, don’t hesitate to check out Justin’s incredible advice.
9. She accepts herself and her life
A woman who knows her value doesn’t try to change herself into something she’s not.
She values herself for who she is and accepts that she’s just a human being.
She knows that she can do anything if she puts her mind to it and when you accept yourself you’re able to put forth all of your efforts into what makes you happy because you know they’re worth it.
Acceptance is powerful because you let go of what you can’t control and focus on what you can.
You recognize your value and worth, and allow yourself to be completely free.
10. She’s not afraid to follow her desires
A confident woman knows that she deserves to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
She does what she loves and pursues her passions.
She doesn’t let shallow engagements with the opposite sex hold her back from living out her real passions.
Women who know their worth making a conscious choice to live life on their terms. They don’t let fear hold them back from living the life they have always wanted to live.
They make sure that every day of their lives is one spent living out their passions and letting the rest follow.
11. She’s not afraid to be herself
A woman who knows her worth is not afraid to be herself because she doesn’t feel like she needs approval from anyone else in order for her life to have meaning and purpose.
She doesn’t try to conform to society’s expectations of how a woman is supposed to be.
A confident woman realizes that she has value and that other people don’t really know what is best for her.
This is why strong woman isn’t afraid to live out who they truly are and follow their passions without hesitation.
12. She doesn’t let self-doubt or fear stop her
A confident woman knows that she deserves a fulfilling life. She is not held back by self-doubt or fear.
If she makes a mistake, or she fails, she doesn’t let it affect her. After all, it’s just another learning opportunity!
She already understands her worth and knows what it will take to get her there.
When you’re confident in yourself, you don’t let doubt put your life on pause.
You forge ahead, despite the fear of failure or rejection because you know it’s all worth it in the end.
A woman who knows her worth does that all the time.
13. She holds herself to a high standard
You don’t have to be perfect, but you do need to work hard at being your best self.
A woman who knows her worth holds herself accountable and doesn’t let others diminish her.
She understands that she is defined by her actions and that they are what will ultimately make her happy or unhappy in life.
She lives a life of integrity. She knows what is right and what is wrong, and she doesn’t ever compromise her ability to do what is right.
14. She knows what’s important in life
A confident and proud woman knows what’s important in life.
She doesn’t rush through life in a frantic attempt to be successful.
She takes each day at a time and she makes sure that each day is special and meaningful for her, connecting every part of her existence together into one satisfying whole.
A woman with strong self-worth also protects the people she cares about, and anyone that gets in her way to do that will feel her wrath.
She’s not afraid to tell someone where the door is.
You can’t trample on her or the people she cares about. Why? Because she ‘s not afraid to stand up for the people that are in her inner circle.
So if you offend her inner circle, be prepared for her to hold you accountable.
